We were delighted to host a Knowledge Network seminar yesterday morning on Risk, Reputation, and Readiness in the Age of Sustainability. Our inhouse panel of experts was made up of Éamon Ó Cuív, Ciara Ryan, Audrey Byrne and Stephen Fuller and the discussion focused on the multifaceted risks arising from the new and fast-evolving sustainability regulatory framework (including greenwashing, reputational, supply chain and broader compliance risk), the practicalities of how sustainability-related litigation might operate within the Irish legal system both now and into the future, and what good governance looks at board level when it comes to sustainability matters. Thank you to everyone who attended for making this such an engaging and informative session. #Sustainability #ESG #KnowledgeNetwork

Indecon’s report, published on 1 October 2024, contains six recommendations to the Government on the way forward for Ireland. In this short briefing, we look at the key takeaways from the report and what it might mean for SBR in the future: https://lnkd.in/ekDWcDpu #SharebasedRemuneration

Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 on Markets in Crypto-Assets was published in the Official Journal of the European Union in June 2023. It became applicable to issuers of asset-referenced tokens and electronic money tokens in June 2024 and will become applicable to providers of crypto asset services on 30 December 2024. Under MiCA, CASPs will require authorisation from a competent authority before providing crypto asset services in the EU. In Ireland, this means those wishing to provide crypto-asset services will be required to apply to the Central Bank of Ireland for authorisation as a CASP.
