Meet our next Wind Industry Taster Cork guest speaker- Hannah Mulcahy. Hannah is a Project Manager in Statkraft Ireland’s Offshore Division. Her educational background includes a BSc in Environmental Science, a Master’s in Planning and Sustainable Development, and a postgraduate certificate in Offshore Renewable Energy, all from University College Cork. With 5 years of experience working at Statkraft and a background in private planning consultancy, Hannah’s expertise lends itself to managing renewable energy projects from inception to planning and detailed design. As the Onshore Consent Manager, Hannah manages a range of technical experts contributing to the development of the North Irish Sea Array offshore wind energy project, one of the Phase One offshore wind energy projects in Ireland. Meet our first "Wind Industry Taster Cork" guest speaker Cormac Gebruers. Cormac is Group External Affairs Manager at DP Energy, a long-established Irish developer of large international renewable energy projects. He is responsible for DP Energy’s engagements with stakeholders across business partnerships, renewable energy projects, regulatory, state, governmental affairs and investment. He plays a lead role in business development for the Company. Cormac joined DP Energy from the National Maritime College of Ireland where he was Head of College from 2018 to 2023, having previously led the College’s research team since 2012. A professional seafarer and computer scientist, over his 30 year career in the maritime sector Cormac worked in many areas and served on numerous Irish, European and international committees, advisory boards & working groups concerned with a wide range of maritime and supply chain technical, policy, development, education & training, safety, security and regulatory matters.
