Her progressive work spans harm reduction in drug policy, criminal justice rehabilitation, and a fairer child maintenance system. Depaul Ireland is at the forefront of trauma informed practice, having provided this training to front line staff in the organisation since 2021. Yvonne Davis from Quality Matters recently joined us for an in person delivery of this training, to discuss the impact of trauma, preventing retraumatisation and supporting service users in a trauma informed way. By the end of this year, over 80% of our frontline staff will be trained in applying this valuable practice!
