*3,422,000 Irish people listen to the radio every day according to the latest official listenership figures released this week. That’s 80% of the entire adult population of Ireland. The survey also shows that radio listenership continues to grow in spite of all the new audio channels available with live radio accounting for 74% of all listenership. 88% of this listening is still done in the traditional way ie on FM on a home or car radio. Radio Kerry is proud and grateful to our loyal listeners who are a significant part of these numbers. 88,000 people tune in to Radio Kerry each week – that’s almost 66% of Kerry adults. 56.9% of all radio listenership in Kerry is to Radio Kerry which is the highest market share since the station started broadcasting in 1990.
