Residential Tenancies Board (RTB)

We are delighted to welcome three new members to the board of the Residential Tenancies Board. Gemma Barrett, Brendan Foster and Yvonne Harris were appointed by the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, Darragh O’Brien TD following a public recruitment process. Yesterday I attended my first meeting with the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Housing, Local Government and Heritage. I was accompanied by colleagues Louise Loughlin and Emer Morrissey. I want to thank the Committee for an opportunity to update them on our work. I also want to recognise colleagues from the Central Statistics Office for research undertaken that adds to our understanding of the private rental sector. My statement is below.
