  • 📰 September is Irish Heart Month 📰 This September, let's focus on our heart health. Irish Heart Month, an initiative of the Irish Heart Foundation, aims to raise awareness about heart diseases and strokes. Here are some key points to remember: ▶️ Heart Disease Statistics: Heart attacks, strokes, and other cardiovascular diseases claim over 9,000 Irish lives every year. 1 in 4 men and women die from these conditions. ▶️ Preventive Measures: 80% of premature heart disease and stroke can be prevented through a healthy lifestyle, including regular physical activity, balanced meals, and stress management. ▶️ Early Diagnosis: Book a monthly heart check-up to ensure early diagnosis and treatment. Encourage your friends and family to do the same. ▶️ Get Active: Move your body and take C.P.R. classes to become proactive in saving lives. Let's take a pledge to become better custodians of our hearts this Irish Heart Month. For more information, visit: https://lnkd.in/degikf_R.
