Celebrating excellence in Irish sport! 🎉🏆 We are proud to celebrate the graduation of 39 new Coach Developers, Instructor Developers, and Coach Developer Assessors from Sport Ireland! 🎓 Representing 20 National Governing Bodies across 19 counties, these graduates embody the incredible diversity and strength of Irish sport. 🌟 A huge congratulations to those from Special Olympics Ireland, Football Association of Ireland, Ladies Gaelic Football Association, Camogie Association, Archery Ireland, Basketball Ireland, Horse Sport Ireland, Irish Athletic Boxing Association (IABA), Gymnastics Ireland, Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA), Irish Amateur Wrestling Association, the Irish Martial Arts Commission, and Diving Ireland! 🙌 These graduates have completed rigorous programs such as the Certificate in Sports Coach Development and Coach Developer Assessor training, equipping them to support coaches across various sports in Ireland. 👉 Read more about this achievement here: https://lnkd.in/ejZ-mqxS We look forward to seeing these graduates shape the future of Irish sport! 💪

Applications for the The National Lottery Good Causes Awards 2025 are now open! The awards honour the inspiring work and achievements of projects, clubs, and individuals all over Ireland who, with the help of National Lottery Good Causes funding, have made an extraordinary impact on their local communities. Individuals, community projects, and organisations that have received part funding from the National Lottery via Sport Ireland between the years 2020 and 2024 are eligible to apply. Incredible success for Team Ireland at the European Indoor Championships! 🥇 Sarah Healy – GOLD in the 3000m with a time of 8:52.86 🥉 Mark English – BRONZE in the 800m with a time of 1:45.46 🥉 Kate O'Connor – BRONZE in the pentathlon with 4,781 points – setting a new national record!
