In a world of self help gurus, podcasters and hustle culture, the term Imposter Syndrome is never too far away, especially on a Linkedin feed. But what actually is it, and how can you stop it? Ultimately, it’s a sense or feeling that you do not deserve the success you hold and believe it’s down to luck rather than being a result of your own skills and work. Sound familiar? If so, you need to work on your self-confidence and belief that you deserve and have earned your own success. Some ways to do this include practicing self talk, taking time to reflect on your achievements and opening up to others about how you’re feeling. Check out the full article below for more tips and strategies to help overcome imposter syndrome. https://lnkd.in/d3655XhN

We’re excited to announce the appointment of Richie Choudhary as our CEO. Richie brings with him a wealth of experience, having led product teams at organizations including Headspace, Microsoft, and most recently, TikTok. Based in Seattle, Richie earned an MBA from Berkeley and a Masters in Computer Science from Columbia University before beginning his career in the tech industry. Richie’s appointment marks a pivotal chapter for Pitstop as we expand our global reach and accelerate our fundraising activity. Commenting on the appointment, our founder and chairman, Emmett Kilduff, said: “When I conceived Pitstop, I envisioned a product-driven leader at the helm who not only excelled in the mobile app world but was also deeply committed to our mission of fuelling men’s personal growth. Richie stood out among more than 2,000 candidates, and his alignment with our vision, combined with his extensive experience at some of the world’s largest tech companies, made him the ideal choice to lead Pitstop forward. I’m excited to see him drive our next phase of innovation and growth as we continue shaping the future of maletech for societal good.” A special thanks to our board members Thomas Copeman and Steve Davies, alongside our advisor Simon Leech, who have worked closely with Emmett during this process. Losing a job can be one of life’s toughest moments, especially when society expects men to be the breadwinners. It can be hard to see it this way in the first place and yes, we know this sounds a whole lot like a big ol’ dose of toxic positivity, but trust us, setbacks more often than not, lead to opportunities. Instead of dwelling on the loss, see it as a chance to reset, build new skills, and explore new career paths. Focus on your mental health, be kind to yourself, stay proactive, and trust your ability to bounce back stronger than before. Remember, it’s not the setback that defines you, but how you rise from it. 💪 Read the full article on our site below. https://lnkd.in/dBrSZ3tw
