World Mental Health Day   Today, October 10th, is World Mental Health Day. This year’s theme is 'Mental Health at Work', and to mark the day, we asked some of our team members a simple but important question: What do you do to look after your mental health and wellbeing? The answers ranged from exercise and kayaking to spending time with family and friends.   This video highlights how simple actions can make a big difference in maintaining a healthy mind.   At TLI Group, we believe that mental health and wellbeing are as important as the work we do every day. We actively prioritise the mental health and wellbeing of all our team members, both in and out of the workplace. With a range of initiatives and supports in place, we’re committed to ensuring that our people feel supported in every way possible. Last Saturday, we enjoyed a wonderful day at Glanageenty Wood in Kerry, where teams from across TLI Group came together for our companywide walk! It was fantastic to see so many of our colleagues, along with their families (and even some furry friends), joining us for a day filled with exercise, laughter and camaraderie.   This event served as a great opportunity for our teams to bond and connect outside of the workplace, all while getting some fresh air and exercise. Congratulations to our Graduates! Four of our talented graduates have successfully completed their graduate programme in collaboration with The Irish Management Institute (IMI)! As part of their programme, the team were tasked with undertaking an internal review of the accommodation process at TLI Group, focusing on proposing a solution that leverages technology, innovation, and cost savings. The team designed an app using Survey123 which will streamline the accommodation request and approval process, resulting in significant efficiencies to the business. The graduates presented their project to fellow IMI graduates as well as our Managing Director, John Tuite, and key members of our team including Mary McGillycuddy (HR Manager), Edith Dennehy (Financial Controller), Noelle 0'Brien (Facilities Manager), and Marie Mulcahy (HR Advisor). The presentation was a huge success, and we are delighted to announce that the new app is set to go live at the end of November! We are incredibly proud of our graduates for the dedication and hard work they've put into this project. This achievement underscores TLI Group's commitment to fostering an environment that supports and encourages our team to pursue further education, helping them grow in their careers and reach their full potential. We're excited to see that the rollout of high-speed fibre broadband in the Black Valley, Co. Kerry, is now nearing completion! TLI Group are proud to have played a significant part in the rollout of the National Broadband Plan in this remote part of the country, on behalf of our client, National Broadband Ireland. We were proud to attend an event hosted by NBI in the Black Valley last Friday to celebrate the occasion. TLI Group were represented by John Tuite (Managing Director), Eoin Long (Director - Telecoms), Darren Clancy (Project Manager), Jimmy Mulcahy (Construction Manager), Martin Conway (Construction Manager) and John Quirke (Pre-Works Supervisor). The team were delighted to be able to meet with the Minister of State Ossian Smyth, Peter Hendrick (CEO, NBI), TJ Malone (CEO, NBI Deployment), Darragh Farrell (NBI Build Manager), Aidan McWeeney (COW, NBI), Kealan Donoghue (Director of Broadband & TV for EIR), the wider NBI team, and local public representatives and residents. The rollout of the National Broadband Plan is reshaping businesses and communities in rural Ireland, and we’re proud to contribute to this initiative. As we enter the final phase of works in the Black Valley with NBI, we look forward to connecting even more homes and businesses across Ireland on behalf of our valued client.
