Valeo Foods Group are proud to announce that our near-term and net-zero targets have been approved by Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). We are one of the first companies in our category to set near-term and net-zero targets including FLAG (Forestry, Land, and Agriculture) and Non-FLAG targets. The validated net-zero target will see Valeo Foods Group work towards our commitment to reduce carbon emissions across our own operations and value chain, in line with the Paris Agreement’s aim of limiting global temperature rise to 1.5⁰C. On Friday, we opened the gates of Candy Plus in Rohatec to the general public. Despite the hot weather, there was a huge interest in visiting our plant, especially in tours of the production facilities. At Batchelors we’ve been proudly making Ireland’s favourite baked beans in Cabra, Dublin since 1935, when the brand’s famous secret sauce was first invented. Batchelor’s is the number 1 baked bean with the most delicious taste. Our beans are bursting with flavour, helping to create hearty and healthy meals that the whole family will enjoy. The 2024 Back to School campaign launched on 12 August with Out of Home across 329 sites nationally roadside and at the point-of-purchase including high footfall areas like Stephen's Green, Blanchardstown, Liffey Valley, Mahon Point and Eyre Square shopping centres. There is also a 30" ad running on Digital Audio across Spotify and SoundCloud, aiming to hit almost 1.5 million impressions. In store, we will have digital ads in SuperValu and dressed ends in Dunnes Stores. Social media is included in the mix with paid posts on Facebook and Instagram.
