As we head towards winter, Venture Out continue to deliver our Unearth 1-2-1 adventure based support service with Children and young people from across the region. While we pack the Wetsuits away for a few months, we still carry out activities like hiking, fishing, bushcraft and biking, and will do so all through the year. This is a very important service for many of these young people. Those that do not engage with traditional talk therapy services, those that do not accept support elsewhere, and for those that need extra guidance and help outside of the support they already receive. We are very grateful to our funders @communityfoundationireland for their support, helping us engage almost 50 young people through this service. If you work with or support young people and want to learn more about our innovative approach, get inntouch to learn more.

The Venture Out team have just returned from our trip to Lithuania. It was great to meet our ESF+ project partners, helping to put some shape on their project and learning how we can best contribute to their programme over the next 24 months. Venture Out now look forward to bringing our skills and expertise to this exciting project and welcoming our EU partners to Ireland next month

Venture Out Wilderness Project CLG we're delighted to be part of this event well done to all involved 👏
🌟 Another exciting day for Social Enterprises in Galway! 🌟 We had a fantastic turnout at PorterShed a dó for yesterday’s breakfast gathering, celebrating some of Galways remarkable social enterprises. A huge thank you to Deirdre Cunningham Galway City Partnership for pulling it all together and a special thanks to Link Galway CLG for both catering and kicking off proceedings! The day featured inspiring pitches from several local initiatives, including Galway Community Circus, GOCOM Radio, Red Door Studio Galway, Venture Out Wilderness Project CLG, SCCUL Sanctuary, An Mheitheal Rothar, Umbrella Le Chéile and Bounce Back Upcycling. Each presenter showcased their unique contributions to our community, highlighting their commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals. Made possible with support from Comhairle Cathrach na Gaillimhe / Galway City Council, we envision this as the first of many pitching events aimed at encouraging collaboration between Galway’s social and corporate enterprises. Together, we can create a more connected and impactful social economy 💪✨
