    The Last Planner System (LPS) is a collaborative project management approach designed to improve workflow reliability and productivity in projects. It emphasises proactive planning and coordination among all stakeholders, ensuring that tasks are completed as scheduled. Along with the correct Tier management structure in place and digitilisation of outputs, LPS is designed to streamline reporting, planning and risk management. Planning: Weekly planning sessions with the required people to collaboratively plan the next 3 weeks work. This allows the team to collectively look at the project schedule, in their related to their workstream, and identify a clear list of tasks required to meet the schedule demands. i.e. a Weekly Work Plan. Reporting • Daily huddles are set in place to allow the workstream leads to provide real time updates on planned tasks. The focus of this huddle is the Weekly Work Plan where management can be made aware of incomplete tasks from the day before, the effect that may have on planned tasks for the day ahead and begin the process of constraint resolution in an efficient manner. • Insightful data analysis of KPI’s in a single interactive dashboard, presented to the management team, to further improve planning and decision making. Risk Management Affording the team the opportunity to examine the schedule and forward planning allows constraints to be identified as early as possible with the intention of being closed and removed before causing any schedule disruption.
