This week, our CEO, Elly Perets 🛰️ and Country Manager Jason Shang, MBA, BSc had the honor of visiting the China Urban Water Association (CUWA). CUWA, a national nonprofit organization that has been at the forefront of China’s water industry since 1985, plays a crucial role in advancing water-related initiatives. During our constructive discussion with CUWA's General Secretary, we explored how #ASTERRA satellite-based solutions can contribute to water conservation, smart water management, and underground pipeline infrastructure resilience. The meeting reinforced our shared vision of the tremendous opportunities for collaboration across China. Customer Spotlight🔦 WWZ Groupe We are proud to work in Switzerland! For two years running, the WWZ Groupe from the canton of Zug has undertaken the task of inspecting approximately 500 km of its drinking water network using ASTERRA's satellite analysis service. Since the project's inception, over 100 leaks have already been detected and confirmed at the suspected locations. "We receive information about the suspected locations in our drinking water network via the EO Discover data portal. The technology helps us prioritize our leak detection efforts," says Marcel Gross, head of Gas, Water, & Energy Production Operations.
