Thanks to the Swiss Innovation Forces for the opportunity to demonstrate Axon Vision's AI Capabilities for Combat Vehicles!

“Don’t try to make this fancy. We’d rather have 100 of these right now, than 20 overengineered ones in five years”. This is the exact Feedback we received from one of the end users during a field test last week with the Swiss Armed Forces. These words still make me think… What can we learn from them? Here are some (non-exhaustive, and surely a little simplified) thoughts about paradigms, which this specific Feedback addressed:   👁️🗨️ End Users don’t have the entire (big) picture vs. People who decide over requirements don’t understand the end user’s needs. 🚀 Integration and customization (aka “Helvetisierung”) vs. functions that actually create value. ⚡ Wanting to cover every possibility (eventually)  vs. enhancing capabilities in small steps (in fast iterations) ✳ Waiting for a solution to be mature (and then paying a high market price) vs. trying something that might still be a bit shaky (and taking risks of it not delivering “perfect” results)      This end users Feedback also emphasizes, that no matter how good a specific solution or technology is, if the technology becomes the mission, then the mission will suffer and the end user won't use it. And so I am reminded again, that part of our duty to the Swiss Armed Forces has much more to do with focussing on the end user and changing perceptions and culture, than any specific technology. thank you for the opportunity to grow togehter Yves Gaechter, Schweizer Florian #teamarmee #swissarmedforces #bettertogether
