We are pleased to announce the launch of the industry’s first merchant 1.6Tb/s silicon photonics engine for AI and hyperscale data center applications. This product supports 8 independent channels operating at 224G each, for 1.6 Tb/s DR8 applications. A second variant is available supporting four channels for 800Gb/s DR4 applications. The engine integrates on-board lasers using our patented L3C™ (Low-Loss Laser Coupling) technology. The products are currently available for sampling and will enter volume production by the end of the year.
