At Elmo, we're thrilled and proud to continue our exciting collaboration with NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration! Just a few weeks ago, our dedicated team members, Garrett Wagg, and Don Baughan, had the incredible opportunity to visit the NASA Johnson Space Center.  There, they met with NASA engineers to discuss plans—stay tuned for what's to come—and even got behind the wheel of a lunar vehicle powered by 𝟮𝟲 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗹𝗺𝗼’𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝘄𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀. “I started as a purchasing coordinator, and in less than a year, I advanced to Production Planning and Control (PPC) as a Planner.” We chatted with Alexandra Poplavsky about what it means to be in motion at Elmo. “I joined Elmo two and a half years ago as a purchasing coordinator. It was during COVID-19 peak, and I was also moving homes. It wasn’t easy, but I quickly found my place here. This was thanks to enjoying my work, finding it interesting, and having support when needed. As a mom, having flexible hours has been very convenient for me in balancing my home and work life. As the pandemic began to stabilize, my manager and HR approached me with an offer to move into production planning, which I accepted. In this role, I get to work with all operations teams - production, engineering, purchasing, etc. To ensure we meet our production deadlines and always have the required materials on hand. As a Planner it is essential for our team to maintain smooth and efficient production, directly impacting our ability to deliver quality products on time. This position presents many new challenges which I find exciting to solve. In addition, I enjoy working with companies across various industries in Israel and around the world. I feel that my role impacts the company and I love the sense of belonging I get from Elmo.” #drivenbypeople #employeesinmotion #servodrive #motioncontrol
