Wishing the great team at Kima Network the best of luck as they qualified for the Bank of Israel's Digital Shekel Challenge! 🚀 As one of the fourteen teams selected to participate, this challenge is inspired by the BIS Innovation Hub's "Project Rosalind," which has generated significant interest within the fintech community. Kima Network, a distinguished portfolio company of the FinSec Innovation Lab, is at the forefront of #transforming financial interoperability. Their #innovative protocol not only bridges the gap between digital assets and traditional financial systems but also addresses significant security #challenges associated with such integrations. This seamless integration between #blockchain networks and #banking systems enables cross-ecosystem applications and enhances user experiences. By unifying fragmented financial services, Kima is creating a more cohesive and accessible financial ecosystem. The challenge's sandbox kicks off in early August, providing a platform for the selected teams to develop their use cases. The final products will be showcased at a conference in October. In her last role with Mastercard, Hadar led the European Corporate Development arm, focusing on launching and managing a dedicated fund and leading #investments and portfolio #management of more than ten companies. These domains involved working with key customer segments in the US, Europe, and Israel, including traditional financial institutions, disruptive fintech, global retailers, insurance networks, and more. Prior to Mastercard, Hadar worked for Discount Bank בנק דיסקונט in Israel in the Corporate Strategy team, where she led the bank’s channel strategy in light of the digital transformation of banking services. This innovative platform allows families to schedule #volunteer activities in advance, #support small businesses, and #enjoy benefits in the vicinity of their volunteering activities through the Easy app. The initiative will initially operate in multiple cities across Israel, including Tel Aviv, Be’er Sheva, and Jerusalem.
