Over the last months, we had the honor of bringing Jeffrey Weiss' commemoration vision to life in time for the one year anniversary of the October 7 Massacres and the Swords of Iron War - the Stickers of Meaning project. The October 7 Massacres and the subsequent war have claimed the lives of nearly 2,000 civilians and soldiers. It has become a tradition in Israel, during this war, for families and friends to create a memorial sticker for their loved ones. Many of these include a personal motto or phrase that holds special significance to the individual. The Stickers of Meaning project was created to collect, preserve, and present these stickers to the public in a central repository, making them and the powerful messages they carry accessible to as many people as possible, helping to build a world filled with love, purpose, and accomplishment. We want to thank the bereaved families who graciously agreed to let us use their loved ones' stickers and all those involved in the creation of this meaningful project: Ofer Sachs Romy L. We had the pleasure of taking part in the launch of Israel's Food Security Forum yesterday, hosted by HaShomer HaChadash- ארגון השומר החדש! The event focused on the main challenges to Israel's food security, visions and goals were defined, and the foundation was laid for the continuous and joint work of all the stakeholders in this important field. The forum will work to strengthen local production and its infrastructure as well as be a catalyst for diverse initiatives and collaborations. As we face significant challenges such as climate change, population growth, and economic disparities, it's more important than ever to work together and develop sustainable solutions that can feed our growing world.
