We are thrilled to announce Human Xtensions' successful participation as an exhibitor at the EAES - European Association for Endoscopic Surgery—European Association for Endoscopic Surgery 2024 congress, held June 11-14, 2024. During the event, we showcased the HandX®, our groundbreaking handheld robotic system for laparoscopic surgery. This system drew significant attention from attendees, highlighting its potential to revolutionize surgical practices. In parallel with our exhibit, Dr. Leonardo Silvio Estaba presented two impactful surgical videos featuring the HandX®. The first video demonstrated a common bile duct (CBD) exploration, and the second showcased the use of the HandX® for suturing without tackers in hernia surgery. Both presentations attracted large audiences and sparked considerable interest among the attendees. After one and a half hours training session, the next day, Dr. Mohamed Abdelwahid performed a sleeve gastrectomy using the HandX™ Needle Holder. “The way of articulating, the way of movement, the hand fitting is easy. You don't have shoulder pain while taking a stich and that is quite easy. I recommend it for our own hospital. I will try it also for Gastric Bypass procedures”.
