Ashley Laporte, Senior Vice President of Human Resources, EdgeConneX gives an inspiring talk on how she’s always up to learn about interesting insights and face new challenges! For her, setting the right example for her team is a priority. Here’s how she shares her love for discovering new ideas today and singing choir while growing up.   The best part of my job:  My favorite thing about working in the data center industry is the global nature of our business. Having people on our team from all over the world and from different backgrounds makes my job interesting and fun! I get to meet new people and learn about different cultures, social norms, and business practices, which means every day is unique, and I am always learning something new.   The coolest thing about the AdaniConneX-EdgeConneX partnership: Working with the AdaniConneX team means always having additional perspectives and ideas to help tackle challenges. Every time I realise how each individual brings their own set of ideas to the table which helps solve a problem in a much seamless manner.   My daily intake of inspiration:  I am inspired to continue to do better each day and keep moving forward, as I watch my two little ones grow. I know they're watching me and learning from me. This gives me the motivation and inspiration to keep going. Their curiosity about the world always reminds me of how important it is to ask questions.   A latent talent:  You might be surprised to learn that I love to sing! Yes, you heard that right! I sang in the choir growing up in school, and it is one of my most favourite memories of my childhood. These days, I love to belt out tunes with my children in the car on the way to school. Each time I realize how happy singing makes me feel!   My success mantra:  My mantra for life is to keep improving, keep learning, keep growing! Being stagnant is not an option for me. That is why you’ll always find me discussing with my team about what’s new!
