ADVERTISING AGENCIES ASSOCIATION OF INDIA

AAAI is the official, national organization of advertising agencies, formed in 1945, to promote their interests. The Association promotes professionalism, through its founding principles, which uphold sound business practices between advertisers and advertising agencies and the various media. The AAAI today is truly representative, with a very large number of small, medium and large-sized agencies as its members, who together account for almost 80% of the advertising business placed in the country. It is thus recognized as the apex body of and the spokesperson for the advertising industry at all forums – advertisers and media owners and their associations and Government. The main objectives, among others, of the Association are - to raise and improve the standard of publicity and advertising by all practical means; to encourage and preserve a high standard of industrial design; to arrange for Educational courses in the profession of advertising for the staff and/or its members; to enlist the services of experts in the art of advertising on payment of fees or otherwise; to organise seminars, conferences for the advancement of advertising and honour achievers ; to encourage and maintain a high level of business and professional integrity amongst advertising agencies and their suppliers; to encourage and secure friendly relations and unanimity amongst members of the advertising profession and advertising agencies in India, on all or any one or more subjects connected with their common good; and for that matter to associate co-operate and/or affiliate the association to the Asian or world organisation or federation established with similar objects and to participate in deliberation of world or Asian organisations or meetings; to secure good relationship between members of the association and for that purpose, to arbitrate in disputes arising between them; and disputes between them and advertiser or owners of media.
