Bajaj Auto Ltd announced the reappointment of Rajivnayan Rahulkumar Bajaj as managing director and chief executive officer for another five-year term, effective April 1, 2025.   Simultaneously, the company revealed a Rs 1,500 crore fund infusion into its wholly-owned subsidiary, Bajaj Auto Credit Limited (BACL). Bajaj Auto Ltd has launched the Service Technician Excellence Program (STEP), its flagship CSR initiative, at the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)-Rahul Bajaj Centre of Excellence on Skills in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh. STEP is designed to empower youth, particularly those who have completed their 10th or 12th grades, by providing specialized training in two-wheeler auto repair.    Recognizing the skill gaps in the current automotive service industry, STEP offers a comprehensive 3-month program, combining 2.5 months of intensive training with 15 days of on-the-job experience. The program aims to certify 120 candidates annually, equipping them for roles as service technicians at OEM dealerships or become self-employed    The centre's inauguration was graced by esteemed personalities, including Shri Kamal Nath Ji, former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh; Mr. Nakul Nath, former MP of Chhindwara; and Ravi Kyran Ramasamy, CHRO of Bajaj Auto Ltd, Sudhakar Gudipati, VP CSR, Bajaj Auto Ltd. The centre is set up in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) as the infrastructure partner, and Ambuja Foundation as the implementation partner. Bajaj Auto Ltd was proud to be the Title Sponsor of Manthan 2025, the Annual Management and Cultural Fest at Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. This initiative aimed to provide first-year Social Work, Development Studies, and HRM & LR students with practical insights and hands-on experience, bridging academic learning with real-world challenges. The event featured a dynamic lineup of speaker sessions and student engagement activities: Day 1: Priyanshi S. kicked off the event with an insightful session on "Creating Social Impact Beyond Compliance." This was followed by a case discussion challenge, where first-year students analyzed and presented solutions for CSR case studies based on real grassroots issues tackled by the Bajaj Auto CSR team. Day 2: Sumnaunsh Gadade and Manjeet S Nayak led an engaging and interactive session, "Demystifying HR Myths – The Reality Behind Common Misconceptions," offering a candid perspective on corporate and plant business unit HR challenges. Over 100 students actively participated, gaining valuable insights and actionable takeaways from these sessions. Bajaj Auto Ltd from Brazil arrives in Piracicaba!   Bajaj Rota B Piracicaba starts its operations, expanding the brand's presence in the interior of São Paulo. The new dealership is part of the Rota B group, which already represents Bajaj in Jundiaí and Sorocaba. The official inauguration takes place later this month, with a special program for the public. Owning Your Brilliance: Workshop by Aloka Banerjee Syam, a specially curated session was designed to help women workforce to step into their strengths, embrace achievements, and break free from self-doubt. Through engaging discussions and practical strategies, the workshop empowered all to recognize self-worth and own one's space. Aloka Banerjee Syam is a marketing communications leader with 27+ years of experience. Ms. Aloka conducts leadership and transformative workshops and is the Managing Partner at BuzzRoom and Business Mentor @ Women’s Entrepreneurship Platform (Niti Aayog). We also had Balance & Bank: Session on Personal Finance by Nilambu Syam. During this interactive session, topics like essentials of personal finance, investment avenues, tax strategies, risk management and the importance of early planning were discussed. Mr. Nilambu Syam, is a seasoned finance professional with over 30 years of experience in Investment Management, Banking, and Equity Research. He has served as MD at IDFC Investment Bank and is an experienced trainer and Adjunct Faculty in Finance and Entrepreneurship. He holds an MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur. Shalini Kapoor is a renowned AI and technology leader with a career spanning engineering, research, and executive leadership. In addition to being the Chief Technology Officer at AWS, she has held key advisory roles, including Co-Chair of the FICCI Technology Committee, Member of the India AI Advisory Council (WEF), and Board of Governors at IIIT Sri City. As IBM’s first Fellow from India and the first woman IBM Distinguished Engineer in India, she has made significant contributions to AI and computing, with 15 patents and 4 IEEE papers to her name. She is also the Founder of Ankurit Foundation, promoting STEM education in India. Shalini co-authored the book "AI For You – The New Gamechanger" and hosts the ‘AI Infusion’ podcast on Spotify, sharing insights on AI’s impact on business and society.
