Bridgestone respects the principles of the Convention on Biological Diversity and is committed to raising awareness and taking action towards enhancing biodiversity. Since early 2019, the group has launched “The Bridgestone In Harmony with Nature – Promoting Biodiversity Program”. The program includes a structure of biodiversity KPIs for our manufacturing facilities across the globe to promote activities to conserve biodiversity. As early adopters of the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD), Bridgestone began participating in the Forum in March 2022, and began disclosing information in line with TNFD recommendations in October 2023. We will continue to assess our risks and opportunities, and strengthen our efforts towards nature positivity internally, externally and across our value chain, in alignment with the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF) and TNFD.
