We kicked off our first support group webinar on August 15, 2024 for our patients with multiple myeloma under the aegis of the non-profit CPOEM Foundation. It was well attended and received by our patients and their care givers. Dr. Shaji Kumar, Professor, Division of Hematology, Mayo Clinic and a pioneer in the field of plasma cell dyscrasias will discuss the diagnosis and management of newly diagnosed and relapsed systemic light chain (AL) amyloidosis. There is a major paradigm shift in the management of relapsed multiple myeloma with the advent of novel drugs like bispecific antibodies and CAR-T cell therapy.
