On the eve of #WorldMentalHealthDay, we would like to emphasize that mental health is not a privilege—it is a basic human right for all. This year’s theme, “Mental Health at Work,” serves as a reminder that our workplaces should be spaces not just for productivity, but also for #care, #support and #wellbeing. The first step towards this is recognizing stress or emotional discomfort. Under the leadership of our founder, Priti Srivastava, we have committed to raising awareness about a unique tool called the “Stressometer.” This is a screening questionnaire that generates a colored spectrum, referred to as the ‘Emotional Wellness Index,’ a term coined by Dr. Sandeep Vohra, a globally recognized clinical psychiatrist and psychotherapist with over 30 years of experience in mental health. The “Stressometer” is the first and only culturally neutral scale developed through an Indo-US collaboration, universally accepted and one of nine screening tools for psychiatric disorders created in India since independence. Notably, the “Stressometer” has been listed among the top three globally recognized and validated stress assessment tools in the USA's 15th edition of the "Textbook of Medical-Surgical Nursing" by Brunner & Suddarth. Unlike other scales that measure general stress, this tool specifically assesses both stress and mental health, making it one of the most impactful self-assessment tools for emotional wellness and early identification of mental health issues worldwide. We aim to engage with organizations to: 1.Advocate for better mental health support in the workplace. 2. Listen with empathy and without judgment to all employees. 3. Offer screening to monitor emotional health. 4. Encourage the belief that seeking help for mental wellness is a sign of strength, not weakness. Let’s open up the conversation about mental health, support one another and work toward a world where everyone’s mental well-being is protected, respected, and nurtured. #MentalHealthIsAHumanRight #FreedomFromEmotionalAbuse #EndEmotionalAbuse #BreakTheStigma #MentalHealthMatters #MentalHealthAtWorkplace #MentalWellnessMatters #Itsoknottobeok Pradeep Chaturvedi Seeya Kapur

One of the most relevant quotes from the Bhagavad Gita on mental wellness is: “For one who has conquered the mind, the mind is the best of friends; but for one who has failed to do so, the mind will remain the greatest enemy.” — Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 6, Verse 6 This verse emphasizes the importance of mastering the mind for achieving mental peace and well-being. It suggests that when the mind is under control, it becomes a powerful ally, leading to inner peace and clarity. However, if left unchecked, the mind can become a source of unrest and turmoil. Krishna Consciousness teaches that mental peace is attained by recognizing one's identity, living a life of devotion, performing duties without attachment to outcomes, controlling the mind through meditation and surrendering to the divine will. Even after more than 5,000 years, these teachings remain relevant. Today, we live in turbulent times where #mentalhealth requires personal attention. The most important life mantra is self-love—love your #mindbodysoul. When you are emotionally at peace, you can help others. Mantra chanting can be seen as affirmations that reinforce our goals and desires in a positive direction. In the modern world, Bhakti involves surrendering negativity and embracing yourself as you are. Practicing #compassion and #empathy daily is essential as these qualities grow with consistent practice.                         Wishing all an incredibly happy Krishan Janmashtami Pradeep Chaturvedi Seeya Kapur Aditya Bajaj Priti Srivastava

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new campaign, "Freedom from Emotional Abuse," in collaboration with Navratan Foundations. And what better day then 15th of August .This initiative is dedicated to empowering women, particularly those learning skills at the foundation's tailoring centers. Through this program, we will provide guidance, support and mentorship to help them navigate their journeys toward emotional well-being. As we begin with these women, our goal is to eventually extend our services to anyone who seeks our assistance through #DayaRaniHumanLibrary. #Emotionalabuse often leaves scars that are not visible but are deeply felt. It is a silent yet pervasive issue in relationships whether at home or at workplace. Imagine a woman who constantly faces belittling remarks from her partner, eroding her self-worth over time. Or an employee who endures manipulative behavior from a colleague, causing anxiety and stress. These scenarios are all too common and our campaign aims to shine a light on them, offering resources and support to those affected. By raising awareness and providing a safe space for individuals to seek help, we hope to create a community where #emotionalabuse is recognized, addressed and ultimately overcome. Together with Navratan Foundation, we are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most. #freedomofmind #mentalhealthmatters Priti Srivastava

  • Join us this #MentalHealthWeek starting May 13th as we unveil our online #HumanLibrary, a space bursting with diverse voices and experiences in the #mentalwellness ecosystem. Here's how it works: Volunteers become human books, sharing their journeys and insights on mental health through open, honest conversations. Readers can schedule appointments to engage in dialogue, gaining fresh perspectives and fostering empathy along the way. Our goal? To shatter stereotypes, break down barriers, and promote understanding. awareness on positive mental health. Together, we will humanise mental health issues and celebrate the richness of a holistic lifestyle. Participating as a human book is not just about sharing stories -it's about reclaiming narratives, challenging stereotypes and building bridges within our communities. In a world often divided by differences, let's come together to embrace dialogue, foster empathy and build a more inclusive society. #DayaRaniHumanLibrary #BreakTheStigma #EmpathyMatters Priti Srivastava VIBHA MISHRA Puoja Kapur Vasudha Jha

  • As we celebrate World Health Day, it's crucial to recognize that health is not just about our physical well-being; it encompasses our mental health too. This year's theme, "My health my right," underscores the importance of mental health as an essential component of overall health. #Mentalhealth is not a luxury or an afterthought—it's a fundamental human right. Just as we prioritize physical health through exercise, nutrition, and medical care, we must also prioritize mental health through self-care, #emotionalwellness and having a positive mindset. In a world where stress, anxiety and depression are increasingly prevalent, it is more important than ever to break the stigma surrounding mental health and promote understanding, empathy, and support for those struggling. By recognizing and respecting the right to mental health for ourselves and others, we can create healthier, happier communities So, let us pledge to prioritize mental health, not just today, but every day. Together, let's advocate for policies and resources that ensure everyone has access to the mental health care they need. Because when we focus on mental health, we are not just improving individual lives—we're building a healthier world for all. #WorldHealthDay #MyHealthMyRight #MentalHealthMatters #mindset

Globally #mentalhealth is a unique challenge knocking at our doors for immediate preventive health measures. We have witnessed the mental health, social and emotional effects of the COVID‐19 pandemic in past years. With mental health concerns contributing to a significant portion of the global disease burden, it is imperative to confront the prevailing stigma and misconceptions surrounding mental health by providing a platform for open discussions, sharing personal journeys of resilience, and collaborating with mental health experts. There is a need to bridge the informational and societal gap, promoting a healthier and more empathetic understanding of mental well-being. There is a need to challenge the status quo and advocate for a society where mental health is a priority rather than a neglected aspect of human experience.   To achieve the aims of global mental health, several actions are required for policymakers, funders, health operations, advocates, and communities. Among these are the use of policies to address upstream social determinants of mental health, the scaling of mental health services and the integration of mental health into other global health streams. We as a think tank alongwith Priti Srivastava can facilitate to : ·     To advocate a pivotal role in the dissemination and translation of evidence into actionable policies and plans for communities, health systems and policymakers to implement. ·      Effectively use technology and artificial intelligence to understand the quantum of the problem, define it and map for different categories of the community as per the need of e very country. Please share your views and lets build a advocacy narrative on #menatlhealth priority measures . #emotionalwellness #mentalhealthmatters

  • Before embracing your thoughts as absolute truths, take a moment to reflect. Consider the role of conscious thoughts, context, empathy, emotional responses, and initial reactions in shaping your perspective. It's crucial to analyze our thoughts critically, understanding the influence of our emotions and biases. This self-awareness can lead to more informed decisions and deeper insights into our beliefs and actions. #ReflectOnThoughts #ConsciousThinking #ContextMatters #EmpathyCounts #EmotionalIntelligence #InitialThoughts #CriticalThinking #SelfAwareness #Mindfulness #MentalClarity #InformedDecisions #PersonalGrowth #ThoughtProcess #UnderstandingEmotions #InsightfulLiving
