We’re delighted to share that Team Decathlon took home the title in the TAL Corporate Mixed Tournament on Women's Day with 15 goals scored and none conceded! The format had women leading the attack and men holding down the fort on defense, with only goals to be scored by women and women being goalkeepers. Congratulations to QUIMCY DSOUZA for taking home the Top Scorer title, and Vijetha Shree for earning the Clean Sheet Award standing tall as the last line of defense! “I joined Decathlon in 2014 in Bengaluru from college placement. I’m from Haryana. My husband is an entrepreneur based out of Gurgaon. At the time of marriage, I was thinking about how and when we’d get to meet as we worked on weekends and had week offs on weekdays, and it was the other way round for him. I made a decision to change to a part-time role in Decathlon for a year. I had a supportive ecosystem around me to give me direction. Without that it would have been difficult for me.” “I love swimming, I’m a water baby. After joining Decathlon, I got to experience so many more sports. I was never a fan of running earlier, now it’s a part of my routine.
