Our university has resently hosted two insightful events that bring together experts, researchers, and students to explore cutting-edge advancements in chemistry where I learned about : 🔬 NMR Instrument Workshop – A deep dive into Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, its applications, and hands-on training to enhance analytical skills. 🌍 Conference on "Chemistry for Tomorrow" – A platform to discuss the future of chemistry, emerging technologies, and their impact on sustainable development. Pleased to share our latest study, published in the Journal of Applied Physics (J. Appl. Phys. 137, 045501, 2025), introduces a Dion–Jacobson perovskite-based self-rectifying memory cell designed for brain-inspired computing and data storage. This innovative device reduces sneak path currents and demonstrates remarkable stability, maintaining a rectification ratio (∼10^3), on/off ratio (∼10^3), and set voltage (∼0.52 V) for over 200 days under varying temperatures (25–70°C) and humidity (up to 70% RH). With insights from electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, this work represents a significant step toward scalable, reliable memory-centric computing architectures for AI and deep learning applications.
