Job Title: Site Engineer [Residential Project | Architecture]

THIS IS NOT AN ARCHITECT ROLE.
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Site Engineer to manage and inspect our project sites in Goa, oversee the implementation of architectural and interior design projects, and serve as a communication bridge between vendors, contractors, clients, and architects. Do note that this is an urgent opening and the candidate is required to be able to work full-time from the office location (North Goa, Goa)
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of site management, including masonry, fabrication, levelling checks, and preparation of inspection reports.
Implementation Oversight: Ensure that the architectural plans are implemented as designed, checking site services like MEP.
- Conduct detailed inspections of interior works such as tiling, carpentry, and false ceiling installations, ensuring compliance with design specifications and standards.
Serve as the point of contact between vendors, contractors, clients, and architects, facilitating effective communication and coordination to ensure smooth project progress.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that deadlines are met and any delays are effectively communicated.
- Manage project budgeting, including accurate BoQ preparation, cost estimation, and resource allocation.
- Review, read, and draft architectural plans with a strong foundational understanding of architectural design principles.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships by addressing concerns, providing regular project updates, and ensuring satisfaction with the work.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in architectural engineering, construction site management, or a related role.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and basic MEP coordination software.
Strong command of MS Excel for project tracking, BoQ, and estimation.
Ability to read, interpret, and draft architectural plans and blueprints.
Expertise in masonry, fabrication, tiling, and carpentry processes.
Strong Understanding of Building Codes: Familiarity with building codes and standards for both architecture and interior construction.
Project Management: Experience in project scheduling, timeline management, and vendor coordination.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively bridge the communication between various stakeholders.
Problem-solving Abilities: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve construction-related issues on-site.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or construction management.
Prior experience working closely with architects, interior designers, and contractors.
