Dwarikesh Distillery plants, located in Bijnor & Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh, started today. The Puja ceremony was attended by staff and workers. Both the plants produce ethanol, an eco-friendly solution to the petroleum shortage, from Cane Syrup and Molasses. It is then supplied to the Oil Companies. India’s ethanol blending initiatives are gaining traction, with research on blending 15% ethanol in diesel now ongoing, according to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.
