I always look forward to my meetings with Mr Bill Gates for the inspiration and optimism he brings with his conversations. EILian Smitha Sehgal has been conferred with the First Runners Up - The Wise Owl Literary Award in recognition of her work ‘How Women Become Poems in Malabar’ (Red River Press) in an event held in Chandigarh celebrating literature and art. Recognizing the outstanding contributions across poetry, fiction and non-fiction, The Wise Owl Literary Awards honour diverse literary voices that shape contemporary discourse. The award ceremony also witnessed an interaction of the awardees with the Resident Editor of The Indian Express, Chandigarh. Engineers India Limited (EIL) has been the front-runner in delivering services to various clients for green hydrogen projects that are critical to the decarbonization of multiple industries. A notable project in this regard is a 10 MW Green Hydrogen plant in Vijaipur that uses state-of-the-art Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) technology. The unit, designed to produce 4.3 tonnes per day (TPD) of green hydrogen using renewable energy from the grid, was successfully commissioned recently. EIL is also capable of blending green hydrogen in natural gas pipelines and city gas distribution networks.
