ONGC's subsidiary Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) is a Schedule ‘A’ Miniratna, with a single-location refining capacity of 15 million tons per annum. #ONGC Uran Plant, in partnership with the #AlibagForest and NGO Shrunkhala, launched a significant afforestation drive under the #एक_पेड़_माँ_के_नाम initiative on 28 September 2024. 10,000 seedballs of 10 native varieties were tossed in Kolghar, Raigad District. These seedballs, prepared by local tribal women, supported both the environment and their livelihoods. Over 400 children from nearby ashram schools participated, learning about sustainable, low-cost reforestation from NGO experts.
