I recently had the privilege of hosting a leadership offsite for our cross-functional service delivery team in India. We gathered 24 senior leaders, including several rising female leaders, to step away from daily operations and invest in ourselves, our team, and our mission. During our time together, we took a moment to recognize six leaders for consistently demonstrating our company values. And, of course, we made sure to infuse plenty of fun into our activities! As we reflect on our time together and prepare to bring this momentum back to our teams, here are three key takeaways: 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞 Crafting and refining our purpose statements was profoundly empowering. It not only energized us as business leaders but also reminded us to live our personal missions. As we navigate ongoing transformations, our mission demands leading with clearer purpose from every team member to bring our vision to life! 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 For businesses navigating inflections like ours, the natural inclination is often to add processes and resources to address challenges. But sometimes less is more. We dedicated a full day to identifying opportunities to enhance output quality by eliminating processes that created unnecessary friction for our teammates, students, and customers! 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐎𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐧 We took intentional moments to express appreciation to each other and our teams for the remarkable progress achieved over the past year. The experience was overwhelmingly positive, and a healthy reminder for us to be more intentional to acknowledge and appreciate the often unsaid and overlooked actions by our teams and personal support system! We're moving forward with a renewed sense of unity, inspired to tackle big transformation initiatives. I'm deeply grateful for our amazing team!
