With zero tigers in 2008-09 to over 80 tigers in 2020, Panna Tiger Reserve is a good example of wildlife conservation. With good adminstration and support from the local communities, the wildlife can thrive and this is being demonstrated at Panna. As a result of increasing tiger population and good wildlife sighting, the tourism is also increasing, creating more avenues for local population. Seen this beuatiful male tiger, bathing in Ken river during my last visit to Panna. #wildlifeconservation #ecostourism #pannatigerreserve

Unlike humans, the tigress will not wait for her cubs. She just gives a call. In Sanjay Dubri, we were tracking Mausi Maa & her 4 cubs. The alarm calls of langur alerted us & we went near this waterbody to find Mausi Maa & her 4 cute cubs. While the other 3 cubs were able to cross the waterbody, this cute little cub was unable to jump the ravine, so he decided to take the longer route. Not sure whether he was scared of us, but definitely he was afraid to be left behind. #animalbehavior #tigercubs #wildlife

Isn't it amazing 🤔 🤔 Just by spraying urine a tiger 🐅 creates an invisble fence while we humans have to create physical structures to mark our boundaries 🏘 And this is not just a boundary but also a message board informing other tigers of their presence, sex, and even social status. #tigers #territorymarking #solitaryanimals #wildlifeconservation

A close-up shot of an eagle reveals nature's intricate design 🦅 The eagle's beak is slightly agape, showcasing a thick, fleshy tongue tipped with rough papillae. The bird's piercing gaze is obscured by a translucent membrane, a protective layer shielding the eye from the harsh elements. The intricate details of the feather patterns surrounding the eye and beak create a mosaic of browns, blacks, and grays, emphasizing the bird's predatory nature. Overall it exudes a sense of power, focus, and raw survival instinct. #eagle #birdsofprey #wildlife

Fear of the king 🐯 When the top predator is on the move 🐅 🐅 The alarm calls of deer & langur echo through the forest, warning of a predator's presence. Herbivores on high alert, sensing the danger and ready to flee 🦌 🦌 Its spectacular to witness the reactions of herbivores when a predator is on the move. #tiger #wildlifeconservation #preyandpredator

Watching the cubs playing is a pure joy 🦁 I think no wildlife sighting can match this feeling. A symbol of pure love and cuteness, watching cubs is adorable ❤️ ❤️ Chasing each other, jumping, biting all this a part of their training to become the top predator and the king of the jungle. This playful behavior isn't just about fun; it's a vital training ground for their future survival. #asiaticlion #cutecubs #animalbehaviour #wildlifeconservation

The Paradise Flycatcher- a sight to behold! These birds are known for their stunning plumage, particularly the males. But their captivating presence extends beyond their looks - their vocalizations are quite remarkable as well. The male Paradise Flycatcher is a true songbird. His calls are described as a series of whistles, pips, and clicks, often delivered in a rapid, almost ecstatic flurry. These vocalizations are thought to serve a dual purpose: attracting mates and defending territory. #birdwatching #pannatigerreserve #paradiseflycatcher
