A close-up shot of an eagle reveals nature's intricate design 🦅 The eagle's beak is slightly agape, showcasing a thick, fleshy tongue tipped with rough papillae. The bird's piercing gaze is obscured by a translucent membrane, a protective layer shielding the eye from the harsh elements. The intricate details of the feather patterns surrounding the eye and beak create a mosaic of browns, blacks, and grays, emphasizing the bird's predatory nature. Overall it exudes a sense of power, focus, and raw survival instinct. #eagle #birdsofprey #wildlife

✅ Daily Facts 💡 Did you know?😲 The black and white stripes of a zebra may help with temperature regulation. The black stripes absorb heat, while the white stripes reflect it, creating small air currents that help cool the zebra’s skin. #ongeriexpeditions #experiencelux #luxurysafaris #safaris #magicalkenya #wildlifephotography #explore #discover #wildlife #dailyfacts

CatchCam users are increasingly deploying the underwater camera to monitor their creel pots. In fact, since 2023 the benefits of pairing the camera with #StaticGear have become more evident: “I tested a variety of creels including lobster, brown crab, velvet & green #crab, wrasse pots, as well as shrimp and #prawn creels” with the CatchCam camera. In fact, the underwater footage revealed that “all the species reacted differently to tidal conditions and artificial light conditions which proved really interesting and, as a result, prompted alterations to creel design set up to increase #fishing efficiency”, shared Bruce Langlands in an interview with #TheSkipper magazine. But that’s not all. The #CatchCam camera provides flexibility when it comes to filming the #FishingGear underwater, whether that is static or not. With the size of a Coke can, the camera seamlessly integrates into any set-up, even finding a snug spot inside a creel pot. Read more in the article below: https://bit.ly/41qLmEN

Did you know one of our most popular species is premium paint-grade poplar? When we say poplar, we often mean yellow poplar from Appalachia which can reach sizes up to approximately 150ft. It is fast growing without the typical problems of fast-growing species (short life, weak wood). It is popular largely because of its wide availability and the ability to get longer board lengths typically around 16ft as well as ease of painting and staining. #carpentry

“Resurrection Fern”. These beautiful little ferns grow on old wood, fallen branches, and occasionally live tree bark. When it gets dry, the leaves get brown and curl up, appearing to be dead. As soon as a little rain comes, though, they get bright green and spring back to life. Hence the name resurrection fern. #resurrectionferns #ferns #colorfulferns #Floridaferns #macrophotography https://lnkd.in/eutcMq97

Tiger paw prints can provide a wealth of valuable information when found on trails. Here are some elements to consider: Shape and Size - Tiger prints are generally large, measuring about 10 to 14 cm long and 8 to 10 cm wide. - They have four clearly visible toes with large retractable claws, although the claws are not always marked on the print. - The plantar pad is broad and shaped like a « W. » Differences with Other Big Cats - Compared to leopard prints, tiger prints are larger. - Lion prints are also large, but lions have slightly different plantar pads. Behavior - The prints can indicate hunting behavior, territory marking, or simply the movement of the tiger. - The arrangement of the prints (such as a straight line or a zigzag pattern) can give clues about the pace and purpose of the movement. Field Interpretation Age of the Print - Fresh prints have sharp edges, while older prints may be eroded by the elements. - The depth of the print can indicate the weight and speed of the tiger. @_planettiger_ @sudhirshivaram #safariwithplanettiger #tiger #indianwildlife #bigcat #wildlife #nature #mother #bandhavgarh #safari #peace #natgeotravelindia #natgeo #natgeoyourshot #ranthambore #postmark #wildlifephotography #leopard #sony # #instagood #trendingreels #trendingnow #viral #explore #tigres #tigers #association #associationplanetetigre #ngoplanettiger

Action + Emotion = A great fishing photo I learned this when I started taking cover shots for my website in 2012. This photo was taken near the Chandeleur Sound and remains one of my favorites. When looking at this shot, I can identify 5 things that all come together to make this photo special. #1 The facial emotion translates victory. A job well done. A successful trip. #2 The dropplets of water flying through the air translates action which leads the viewer to believe that the striger just came out of the water. #3 The stretch of marsh to the right adds a splash of green that balances all the blue and gray tones in the photo. The marsh also gives the viewer an idea of what area the fishing took place. #4 This photo was snapped after I finished my submerged photo session. My clothes were soaked. The sheen that the wet material gives off, accents the wrinkles and adds texture to the clothes. #5 The trout flying through the air gives the impression that they are alive which always looks better than hanging fish. I'll take the info I learned from this photo and apply it to future shots. What gets measured gets improved!

I can't imagine what the future will hold. Text to video generated AI content. Prompt: Several giant wooly mammoths approach treading through a snowy meadow, their long wooly fur lightly blows in the wind as they walk, snow covered trees and dramatic snow capped mountains in the distance, mid afternoon light with wispy clouds and a sun high in the distance creates a warm glow, the low camera view is stunning capturing the large furry mammal with beautiful photography, depth of field.
