Last month was intense with contrasting asks of me! One was the #TataMumbaiMarathon and the second was the #RISEPECOWorldSummit. One demanded that I sleep early and exercise to be able to run (and those who know me may never believe I can run leave alone participate in a Marathon :) and the other demanded I burn the midnight oil and get things done!! Glad to share that I managed to do both! Ran the 10K for the very first time and am very proud I met my time target. But more so to see RISE Infinity Foundation (#RIF) featured in the NGO Corridor! On the other hand, closed #RPS25 - the 12th edition(cannot imagine, it's 12 years since we started this other Marathon called #RISESummit!!) to a crescendo on 1st Feb with the RISE Awards going to amazing people that embody the RISE Values - Responsible, Inclusive, Sustainable and Ecosystem-friendly. Next post :) Lots more to say, but I have one more ask before I close the Marathon Chapter (the physical one :) .. Tomorrow is the last date for me to raise funds for #RIF. I had the privilege of leading a workshop on the power of volunteering at the RISE World Summit 2025, in collaboration with the RISE Infinity Foundation and Idobro Impact Solutions. It was inspiring to engage with such a passionate group of participants as we together explored how volunteering not only benefits the causes we serve, but also profoundly impacts individuals, fostering both personal growth and professional development. From skill-building and emotional well-being to career advancement, we discussed the multifaceted advantages of giving back. Key reasons why one should considering volunteering for a cause: ✅ Allows you to venture out into a new domain, meet new people, explore a new ecosystem ✅ Sanity of Mind: gives you a sense of accomplishment, joy and motivation. ✅ You learn new skills that you are probably missing out on while working in your regular jobs ✅ Age no bar; there is no right age to volunteer.
