Consent is not just a word—it's a fundamental right. In India, the law clearly defines consent as an enthusiastic, voluntary, and informed agreement. Remember, 'No' means no, and silence is not consent. Let's educate ourselves and others about the importance of respecting boundaries. #ConsentIsKey #RespectBoundaries #IndianLaw #KnowYourRights #NoMeansNo #EndSexualViolence #EmpowermentThroughEducation #ConsentMatters

TRIGGER WARNING: Mentions of sexual assault and violence. Tragedy struck at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata as a young trainee doctor was brutally raped and murdered. The postmortem report revealed she was throttled to death between 3 am. and 5 am. on August 9, with broken thyroid cartilage and severe injuries. This horrific incident has sparked nationwide outrage and protests, highlighting the urgent need for better safety measures in workplaces, especially for women. At Imaara Survivor Support Foundation, we unequivocally condemn such acts of violence. While it's crucial to amplify these issues, it's equally important that we take action to prevent such tragedies. We can all play a part in ending violence. SWIPE TO LEARN HOW YOU CAN DO YOUR PART. Imaara offers training on SGBV prevention, bystander intervention, and survivor support. Join us in creating safer spaces and a society where everyone feels respected and secure. Together, we can make a difference. #justiceformoumita #justiceformoumitadebnath #JusticeForSurvivors #rgkarmedicalcollege #reclaimthenight
