Lifting a 29.5 kg gas cylinder all day can make your body ache all night, but some people don't let that stop them. Getting into IIT is tough, even for those who study full-time for years with expert guidance. Yet, our hero Gagan achieved this in incredibly challenging conditions. Gagan is from Atrauli Village in Aligarh, UP. His father is also a laborer, supporting the family with just 350 rupees a day. Buying a smartphone for his studies was a huge challenge for Gagan. He worked overtime for months to save up for it. Life wasn't easy—no new clothes, no special food. He focused solely on his studies while earning money through hard labor. We should appreciate his sincere efforts and let his story inspire everyone to focus on their goals and keep working hard. In India, we might not have everything handed to us, but we fight. Education is our weapon, and hard work is another. Let's congratulate Gagan on joining IIT BHU for Electrical and Communication Engineering!

The Union Budget 2024 has been presented with a strong emphasis on boosting education, creating job opportunities, and empowering the youth of India. Here are the key highlights and initiatives from the budget that focus on these critical areas: 💡Education 🔹Increased Funding for Education : The budget has allocated ₹1.48 lakh crore for education, employment, and skilling, reflecting the government's commitment to enhancing educational infrastructure and accessibility. 🔹Skilling Initiatives: A new centrally sponsored scheme has been announced to skill 20 lakh youth over a five-year period. This initiative will upgrade 1,000 Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) into hub-and-spoke arrangements to ensure outcome-oriented training. The courses will be aligned with industry needs, including new courses for emerging sectors. 🔹Education Loans: To support higher education, the government will provide financial support for loans up to 10 lakh for students in domestic institutions. E-vouchers will be distributed to 1 lakh students annually, offering an interest subvention of 3% per annum. 💡Jobs and Employment Employment Linked Incentive Schemes The budget introduces three major employment-linked incentive schemes aimed at boosting job creation across various sectors: 🔹Scheme A: First Timers This scheme provides a one-month wage subsidy (up to 15,000) for all persons newly entering the workforce in formal sectors. The subsidy will be distributed in three installments and is expected to benefit 210 lakh youth. 🔹Scheme B: Job Creation in Manufacturing This scheme targets job creation in the manufacturing sector by providing incentives for hiring first-time employees. Employers and employees will receive shared incentives over four years based on their EPFO contributions. This scheme is projected to benefit 30 lakh youth and their employers. 🔹Scheme C: Support to Employers Employers who increase their workforce above a baseline will receive reimbursement of up to ₹3,000 per month for each additional employee towards their EPFO contribution. This scheme aims to incentivize the employment of 50 lakh individuals. 💡Empowering the Youth 🔹Prime Minister's Internship Program: A significant initiative to skill one crore youth over the next five years has been announced. Under the Prime Minister's Internship Program, India's top companies will offer twelve-month internships with a monthly allowance, providing valuable work experience and enhancing employability. 🔹Participation of Women in the Workforce : To boost female participation in the workforce, the government plans to set up working women hostels in collaboration with industry and establish creches. Additionally, women-specific skilling programs and market access for women Self Help Group (SHG) enterprises will be promoted. #industryxposure #budget2024 #jobs #employment #education #internship #india

CVs are Outdated! Here are some key reasons why CVs often fail to capture true skills and potential of freshers: 🔹Overemphasis on Titles: CVs tend to prioritize past job titles over current abilities, which can be misleading. 🔹Biases: They can perpetuate unfair biases based on superficial details such as age, gender, and educational background. 🔹Lack of Practical Experience: CVs may not effectively capture hands-on experience and problem-solving abilities. 🔹Passion and Motivation: They frequently fail to highlight a candidate's passion and motivation for the role or industry. 🔹Soft Skills: Important soft skills like communication and creativity are often overlooked. 💡Alternatives to CVs: Innovative leaders like Elon Musk have shown that hiring based on stories of real-life contributions can be far more effective. Here’s how companies can rethink their hiring processes: 📌Evaluate Portfolios: Assess candidates based on portfolios that showcase practical skills, such as web design, marketing campaigns, or other relevant projects. 📌Leverage LinkedIn and Industry Events: Connect with engaged candidates who demonstrate industry knowledge and enthusiasm through their online presence and participation in industry events. 📌Professional Blogs and Contributions: Look for candidates who have professional blogs or have made contributions that showcase their expertise and thought leadership 📌Focus on Specific Examples: During interviews, ask candidates to provide specific examples of how they have resolved critical issues or improved customer satisfaction. This approach helps assess practical problem-solving abilities and real-world impact. By moving beyond traditional CVs and focusing on practical skills and real-life stories, companies can make more informed hiring decisions. This approach not only uncovers a candidate’s true potential but also aligns better with the demands of the modern workplace. Let’s rethink the hiring process to find the best talent through their skills and stories. What are your opinions? #industryxposure #jobs #hiring #founders #startups #employment

Stuck in loop of... "Experience ke liye Job chahiye, Job ke liye Experience chahiye." In recent years, the issue of unemployment among freshers and the scarcity of meaningful internships have become pressing concerns for Indian youth. 🌱 As a nation with one of the largest youth populations in the world, India faces a unique challenge. Fresh graduates, equipped with degrees and dreams, often find themselves at crossroads, struggling to secure their first job. Simultaneously, the lack of quality internship opportunities deprives students of the hands-on experience and industry exposure crucial for their professional growth. 📊 Statistics reveal a stark reality: • Nearly 50% of fresh graduates in India remain unemployed. • Only a small fraction of students secure internships that genuinely contribute to their skillset and career prospects. 🔑 Addressing these challenges requires a multi-faceted approach: • Educational Institutions: Integrate practical training and industry projects within the curriculum to ensure students are job-ready. • Corporates: Offer structured internship programs with mentorship and learning opportunities, treating interns as potential future employees. • Government Initiatives: Implement policies that encourage internship opportunities and support startups that can provide such experiences. • Youth Empowerment: Encourage students to seek internships actively, engage in online courses, and participate in workshops to enhance their skills. 💡 Together, we can make a difference. By fostering a culture of continuous learning and practical exposure, we can equip our youth to navigate the competitive job market confidently. Let's commit to creating more opportunities and paving the way for a brighter future for our young minds. 🌟 #Internships #Unemployment #Freshers #IndianYouth #CareerGrowth #SkillDevelopment #FutureLeaders
