40 years have passed since the #1984Sikhgenocide—a painful mark on history, yet justice remains elusive. In Delhi, there exists a "widows' colony"—a haunting reminder of the mothers, sisters, and wives left behind, bearing lifelong scars. And yet, many responsible for these atrocities walk freely, benefiting from the very political system that betrayed them, reaping rewards, shielded by power. Creating "The Kanpur Files" documentary to shed light on this tragedy was an emotionally draining journey. It broke down our beliefs, tore through facades, and exposed us to the raw agony of these women who endured loss and abandonment by a system that never offered even a shoulder of solace. This film is not just a documentary—it’s a testament to the depths of pain and a harsh lesson in how politics, in its hunger for survival, can ruin lives, crush dreams, and destroy communities. As we reflect on this journey, we invite you to watch The Kanpur Files. Let it be a reminder that justice delayed is, indeed, justice denied, and some wounds will never truly heal. Lives are like rivers: eventually they go where they must. Not where we want them to. Yes, it’s been a few days since Rattan’s Tata’s passing, and several tributes have come forth. I share my thoughts today as the reality sets in - a legend has bid adieu, and as we say goodbye not just to a business leader, but the most humble human being—we say goodbye to a man whose heart and soul touched everyone who crossed his path. For decades, his name wasn’t just associated with success; it was a symbol of trust, kindness, and unwavering integrity. His leadership wasn’t just about building a company, but about building the people around him. His warmth, generosity, and genuine care for others created ripples that will be felt for generations. His impact was felt beyond the boardroom as he inspired others with his kindness, generosity, and unshakable belief in lifting people. His legacy will be remembered not only for the success he achieved, but for the warmth and care he shared with the world. Many leaders will walk in and out of our lives, but only true leaders will leave footprints in our. heart.
