Kathir started as an idea of like-minded individuals - Gowtham, Debjani, and Khatija. Their main motive was to do something for the community and help them earn a livelihood. As they began to work on their goal, they came to the conclusion that the basic motive of Kathir shall be to connect underprivileged individuals to society who face challenges to seek opportunities and run their livelihood. The reason may be social stigma, they may be physically challenged, or in a financial crisis. At Kathir, we build a bridge that connects them to society. We train them to make commercial goods which are easily sellable on the market. Kathir is a very interactive initiative that trains the beneficiaries on how to be an entrepreneur by sharing experiences. It provides volunteering opportunities for individuals and corporations, as well as collaborates with NGOs to provide them with CSR consultation. The products that we make at Kathir are organic and handmade with love. We make sure that the products are skin-friendly and eco-friendly. By promoting our products, we promote the unprivileged. Vision The vision is to empower women with skill development so that they are independent and providers for themselves. Mission The mission is to create a completely eco-friendly and sustainable living through the provision of proper skill development and employment for individuals from lesser privileged backgrounds
