  • The opening day of Manik Bagh at KNMA sparked engaging conversations about cross-cultural design and modernism. Curated by Raffael Dedo Gadebusch, this exhibition offers details about the pioneering collaboration with Maharaja Yeshwant Rao Holkar II and architect Eckart Muthesius. For professionals in the art world, this exhibition offers a rare chance to explore how design served as a medium of innovation and dialogue back in 1933. We invite you to engage with these stories and explore a rare collection of drawings, sketches, and vintage photographs. Reflect on how this legacy continues to influence contemporary artistic practices. 🗓️ On view from 15 Oct 24 ⏰ 10.30am - 6.30pm 📍 KNMA Saket #knma #knmaexhibition #chalomuseum #exhibition

  • A captivating dialogue unfolded against the backdrop of Huma Bhabha's striking exhibition, "Before The End," currently gracing Brooklyn Bridge Park in New York. Bhabha engaged in a thought-provoking conversation with Nicholas Baume, Artistic and Executive Director of Public Art Fund, delving into themes of culture, identity, and the significance of public spaces in contemporary art. The event culminated in an intimate dinner with the artist, hosted by KNMA. Bhabha's monumental sculptures, set against the iconic Brooklyn Bridge Park skyline, draw inspiration from age-old mythologies. These imposing works explore themes of history and identity while navigating the tension between the natural and supernatural realms. Her rough-hewn bronzes evoke ancient tombstones yet remain open to the sky, seemingly suspended between worlds. Curated by Nicholas Baume, this exhibition pushes the boundaries of contemporary art. KNMA is honored to be the International Partner for this groundbreaking exhibition. Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in these evocative works, which challenge perceptions and ignite the imagination. 📅 Exhibition runs through March 9th, 2025 📍 Brooklyn Bridge Park, New York Featured works: Huma Bhabha: "Before The End" series (2024) - "Nothing Falls" - "Feel the Hammer" - "Mr. Stone" - "Member" Courtesy of the artist, David Zwirner, and Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, New Delhi. Inspired by Manhattan's urban sprawl, Amitava's collection draws from New York City's iconic downtown skyscrapers. His art invites viewers to step into a world where they can experience the rhythm and moods of urban life, seeing the city through a new, intimate lens. Visit KNMA Saket to see more of Amitava's works. Open till Sept 29.24 10:30AM - 6:30PM #ChaloMuseum #KNMA
