🚀 LF Decentralized Trust is growing—thanks to our community and members!
Today, I am proud to announce some major milestones at The Linux Foundation's LF Decentralized Trust foundation as our community continues to expand, mature our existing projects and innovate in our labs ecosystem to meet the needs of enterprises, governments and individual around the globe.
Some highlights include:
🚀 CREDEBL a LF Decentralized Trust Incubating project was announced, strengthening our decentralized identity ecosystem as we deliver critical open source code and mature communities supporting many large-scale production implementations. This is also our first incubating project contribution accepted by our TAC that is by an India headquartered company- AYANWORKS - 👏🏼 great to see the continued momentum in our India based Community 🫡
🚀 Hyperledger Iroha 2.0 is here! This is a major release advancing digital asset use cases. Hyperledger Iroha is a modular, permissioned blockchain platform designed for simplicity and ease of integration, featuring an asset-centric model.
🚀 New subprojects and labs, including, Web3DB lab for decentralized databases, Paladin lab for privacy on EVM, Waterfall lab a high-performance scalable DApp ecosystem plus new Hiero and Besu subprojects and more! 🙌🏼
One of the most exciting developments over the last few years in our community has been the rapid growth of LF Decentralized Trust Labs 🔬 . These labs are where innovation meets opportunity, allowing developers to experiment with emerging technologies, grow contributors and maintainers to their open source projects, and cntribute early-stage projects to a global community. Five of our current projects, including Hyperledger Cacti, Hyperledger Identus, and Hyperledger FireFly, started as labs before evolving into full-scale projects. This pipeline is critical in shaping the future of decentralized infrastructure and we are so thankful for all the lab contributors making this happen. 🚀
