We recently had the privilege of visiting the Aaryam International Foundation in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, where we met with its esteemed founder and chairman, Professor Pushpendra Kumar Arya, also known as Jagatguru Aaryam. Renowned for his extensive contributions to journalism, education, authorship, Vedic astrology, and spiritual healing, Prof. Arya has authored over 85 books and penned more than 6,000 articles. His dedication to nature, sustainability, empowerment, and the preservation of Indian heritage has earned him accolades from various quarters, including recognition from Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his extensive tree plantation initiatives and efforts to encourage environmental stewardship. During our enlightening discussion, Prof. Arya expressed admiration for Marittika's commitment to sustainability and the empowerment of local and women artisans. He graciously offered his support for our mission, reinforcing our shared vision of promoting traditional crafts and sustainable practices. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Prof. Arya and the Aaryam International Foundation for their encouragement and look forward to collaborative efforts that further our mutual goals of environmental conservation and cultural preservation.
