🌎𝐦𝐁𝐲𝐨𝐦 𝐚𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒! 🍽 We represented Tamil Nadu’s growing food and agro processing sector at the World Food India 2024 engaging with 5000+ visitors, launched 6+ new MSME products, and set the stage for 150+ MSMEs to step into Tamil Nadu's rich ecosystem. 🚀 Here are a few interesting happenings at the event: Tmt. Anita Praveen, the Secretary, Ministry of Food Processing Industries (FPI) launched new products from MSMEs who onboarded with us. We also interacted with representatives from countries like Denmark, Armenia, Japan, Thailand, and more leading to exciting opportunities for potential collaborations, especially around sustainability and specialty products. On the industry front, we connected with major companies like HUL, ITC, PepsiCo, etc. who have promising prospects for building relationships with Tamil Nadu. In addition, we had meaningful B2G and G2B discussions for agri-products and a number of organic and health-focused businesses eager to explore partnerships. 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: - Working collaboratively within a team to facilitate project delivery, including attending discussions, preparing reports and presentations, and managing project administration tasks. - Collaborating closely with stakeholders in the agro- and food processing sector to gather and validate essential data, prepare reports and oversee project implementation. - Conducting thorough research on government policies related to agriculture and food processing, offering insightful analysis to support ongoing projects effectively. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with officials and stakeholders across various departments, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration. - Supporting capacity-building initiatives for food processors and exporters to enhance productivity, quality, and market access by organising workshops, training sessions, facilitation drives etc. - Collaborating with research institutions and academic partners to leverage cutting-edge research and technology for the advancement of the agro- and food processing sector. 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: To excel in this role, you should possess: - One to two years of relevant experience, preferably in working with government entities or managing projects in the agro- and food processing sector. Ex- UPSC aspirant is preferred. -Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office tools (Word and PowerPoint) to effectively analyze data and create compelling presentations. -Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Tamil and English. -Willingness to be based in Chennai or relocate for the duration of the project. -Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. -Comfort in engaging with government stakeholders, participating in client discussions, and taking an active role in project deliverables. -Ability to network effectively and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to drive initiatives for the overall development of the agro - and food processing sector. -Initiative-taking mindset, adaptability, and ability to work independently in dynamic environments. #recruitment #hiring #careeropportunity

In mByom’s world, where our colleagues are buzzing with projects and the challenges that come with these projects, there is a special kind of spirit at play: 𝐎𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩. Meet Eureka, a perfect example of someone who embraces this spirit. At mByom, one of our signature services is creating organisational alignment (more on what organisational alignment is soon). It takes years to develop the capabilities for this niche service.  This did not deter Eureka, who, despite her young age, is always looking to improve her skills. When working with an organisation, it is important to understand its teams and their functions. When these teams come together in a meaningful sequence, enabling the organisation to reach its goals, we call this coming together the organisational alignment. Eureka voluntarily took up the challenge of working on the organisational alignment of an organisation. She started the exercise by understanding what various departments deliver. Step two was realigning them towards an identified objective. Her experience of working with the department for four months gave her an edge in this exercise. Balancing the organisational alignment work while also leading the project was demanding. Managing reviews and unavoidable meetings with various teams required careful juggling. She practised daily standup meetings and morning planning sessions that helped coordinate and facilitate tasks. She also collaborated with other project leads to figure out ways to deliver on project outcomes. This is not the first time she is showing ownership like this. When a new project tender came out, she wanted to learn proposal writing and stepped in. And guess what? She is leading that project now. According to Eureka, it is easy to do the assigned work and go home comfortably. If we need to grow, we need to be willing to go beyond our normal work. We need to embrace the spirit of ownership.
