Paws up, ladies, if you've ever been called a bitch! 🐾
About us
Blissclub is a community-first consumer brand crafting incredibly technical movewear for women in India. We believe that fitness is not about how we look, but about how we feel - both physically and mentally. And we are on a mission to spread happiness through movement. “The women’s activewear segment has been greatly ignored by most brands, leaving women with multiple issues with our activewear. From low quality material to poor sizing and inappropriate designs, the women of India have had to make do with whatever we could find. Not anymore. At Blissclub, we aim to craft insanely comfortable activewear specially made for the Indian woman. We are obsessive about our products and want to make products that are 10X better than what is available in the market. We also want to build our brand community first. After all, Blissclub was a community before we launched product. Through the community, we want to enable women to come together and move and live an active life," says Minu Margeret, Founder and CEO - Blissclub.

#CustomerKiKahaani 002 My Blissclub Experience As someone who craved flattering, confidence-boosting activewear, BlissClub was a revelation. Their Ultimate Flair Pants and leggings delivered an incredible, supportive fit – no more mid-workout mishaps for me! 😄 Plus, they were finally opaque – a major win! 🙌 This experience solidified my trust in BlissClub's commitment to thoughtful design, especially for the Indian woman's body. When they launched their new swimwear collection, I was naturally very excited. What sets BlissClub's swimwear apart is their thoughtful approach to a) product design and b) product presentation. The level of detail goes beyond the norm – they clearly understand the needs of their customers, focusing on the small yet significant elements we care about. Their inclusive sizing up to 4XL is a refreshing change, catering to women of all shapes and sizes. And seeing their design research video (https://lnkd.in/dfBfSyey) further cemented my respect for the brand. The product images capture the intricate details, like cup linings and elastic belts, that make all the difference. BlissClub has raised the bar on swimwear marketing, ensuring customers know exactly what they're getting. While I love their sleek, minimal designs, I'd also be excited to see some fun, playful prints incorporated in future collections. Hey, those strategic slits are calling my name, and I can't wait to dive in and experience the Blissclub difference! 🏊♀️ #CustomerExperience #UserCentricDesign #myblissclub #BrandLove #ShoppingOnline #devilindetail

Blissclub's Bitchclub campaign sheds light on societal restrictions, paralleling their treatment to dog training. More here: https://lnkd.in/dHiDQZPw #advertising | #marketing | #campaign | #bitchclub | #society | #equality | #EmpowerWomen | Minu Bitch Margeret

Conceptualised in-house, the second leg of the Bitchclub campaign by Blissclub draws parallels between how dogs and women are trained to be submissive. The film’s use of sarcasm and creativity drives home a powerful message: society often conditions women to be obedient and restrained. While the campaign is strikingly effective in its message, it may be triggering for some particularly those who have been derogatorily labelled 'bitch.'

This one hit home hard. So very hard. I wish I could say that I didn't relate to atleast one small part of this video, but sadly I can't. I grew up in an ecosystem that always told me that I can't and I shouldn't. And taunted me that even if I tried my best, I couldn't and I wouldn't. It was drilled into my head that I wasn't enough. I was told that girls, and women, should be seen and not heard. And oh boy, did I have a whole bunch of people giving me these 5 commands - Watch the video to understand what I'm saying. (You can thank me later!) Thankfully, something in me knew better, and I became a 'rebel' aka a woman who knows her own mind, speaks the truth and demands what she deserves. And I kept going. Unfortunately, sometimes, even today, I answer to these commands subconsciously when I'm not at my alert best. But I'm getting better at slipping off the leash, and walking away with my tail wagging. Minu Bitch Margeret and Team Blissclub You'll have done some great marketing in the past, but this campaign is, IMHO, your best work till date. Classy, sassy, and so crisp! 2 suggestions/requests to everyone who watches the video: 🐶 Don't dismiss it because of the use of the word 'b!tch' - There is a certain shock value there that the campaign is leveraging. 🐶 You may not relate to it. And that's fine. Just do what my superstar husband did. He came home from work today, showed me the video, told me that he saw it but didn't get it, and he asked me for my viewpoint. And when I told him how much this resonated with me, and shared a few examples from the very recent past with him, he made the effort to understand and pondered over it. If you're reading this, please watch the video. Either you'll get it, and become aware of how far you've come and/or the journey that lies ahead of you. Or you won't get it, and in that case, please discuss it with women around you to get their perspectives, and become more aware. You know what my ideal world looks like? One where no one has the guts to train anyone on these commands, or use them ever. A world where I can be me without worrying that I'm being too much. A world that doesn't try to compartmentalise or control me. A world where we don't have to celebrate women on one day of the year, because guess what, we're giving them equity and equality every single day of the year! My husband tells me I'm too idealistic because I expect people to behave themselves, but let's try, no? - A Bitch who refuses to Stay, Fetch, Shake Hands, be a Good Girl or understand the No command! Woof! 🐕
