Consultant GIS, BBNL Job Objective : BBNL is nodal agency for implementation BharatNet Network, which has been envisaged by Govt. of India to provide high speed broadband connectivity to all gram panchayats. BBNL has established centralized NOCs at Delhi and Bengaluru. The person shall be responsible for monitoring and management of GIS Application deployed at BharatNet NOC at Delhi. The candidate is expected to bring the best technical and management practices related to GIS mapping of OFC Networks. The candidate should have knowledge of processes, documentation, reporting etc. related to GIS mapping and shall work with all internal and external stakeholders. Role & Responsibilities: Preparation and analysis of progress reports generated by GIS Application and briefing to Senior Management. Coordination with PIAs, vendors and other stakeholders for issues related to GIS Mapping. Bug Tracking and reporting to NIC and PIAs for fixing.
