Today, 56 passionate boys and girls at Teiseng joined our session as we observed Global Recycling Day, learning how small actions can create a big impact on sustainability! 🌱 Through interactive discussions, participants explored recyclable materials like paper, plastics, metals, and glass, uncovering how recycling helps reduce waste and protect our planet. Participants visually expressed their recycling knowledge through drawings, making the learning process fun, engaging, and memorable! Outcome? A deeper understanding of recycling, creative solutions for reducing waste, and a stronger commitment to a greener future. On 5th March 2025, Oasis India, in collaboration with Graham Vikas Bahu Uddesh Samasta, organized a powerful Prevention of Human Trafficking and Digital Safety Awareness workshop in Miraj. We were honored to have special guests from Government Departments who shared invaluable insights: 🔹 Shri. Sandeep Patil (SP, AHTU, Miraj) 🔹 Shri. Sunil Gidde (Police Inspector -Traffick Police Incharge 🔹 Shrimati. Nivedita Dhakane (President, CWC) Our Oasis India team — Daniel Jebaraj, Moses Kotrike, and Sandeep Lokhande— led impactful sessions on: ✅ Preventing Human Trafficking ✅ Digital Safety ✅ Protecting Children and Women from Abuse The workshop brought together social workers, NGO leaders, MSW students, counselors, news reporters, and community leaders — all united in the fight against modern-day slavery. The message was clear: Stopping human trafficking requires collective action — government authorities, NGOs, and the community working hand-in-hand.
