ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ମାନ୍ୟବର ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀଯୁକ୍ତ ମୋହନ ଚରଣ ମାଝୀ ଲୋକସଭା ଭବନର କନଭେନସନ୍ ହଲ ଠାରେ ଆୟୋଜିତ ନିଯୁକ୍ତି ମେଳାରେ ଓଡିଶା ଖଣି ନିଗମର ୯୯ ଜଣ ନବନିଯୁକ୍ତ କର୍ମଚାରୀଙ୍କୁ ନିଯୁକ୍ତିପତ୍ର ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିଛନ୍ତି।ଏହି ପରିପ୍ରେକ୍ଷୀରେ କର୍ମଚାରୀମାନେ ନିଷ୍ଠାର ସହିତ କର୍ମଜୀବନ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିବେ ବୋଲି ପ୍ରତିବଦ୍ଧ ହୋଇଥିଲେ। ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ମାନ୍ୟବର ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ, "ଓଡିଶା ଖଣି ନିଗମ ରାଜ୍ୟର ଅର୍ଥନୈତିକ ପ୍ରଗତିରେ ପ୍ରମୁଖ ଭୂମିକା ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଛି। ଆଗାମୀ ଦିନରେ ଶିଳ୍ପ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ଓଡିଶା ନିବେଶକଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଥମ ପସନ୍ଦ ହେବା ପାଇଁ ଯାଉଛି" ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ଇସ୍ପାତ ଓ ଖଣି ଏବଂ ବାଣିଜ୍ୟ ଓ ପରିବହନ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ବିଭୁତି ଭୂଷଣ ଜେନା ଶୁଭେଚ୍ଛା ଜଣାଇ ନବନିଯୁକ୍ତ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଦବୋଧନ ଦେଇ କହିଥିଲେ,"ଆଜି ହେଉଛି ଆପଣମାନଙ୍କ କର୍ମମୟ ଜୀବନର ପ୍ରଥମ ଦିବସ। ଓଡିଶାର ବିକାଶ ରଥକୁ ଆଗେଇ ନେବାର ଦାୟିତ୍ୱ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ନ୍ୟସ୍ତ ରହିଛି ଏହାକୁ ହୃଦୟଙ୍ଗମ କରି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରନ୍ତୁ" ଏହି ସମାରୋହରେ ମାନ୍ୟବର ଉପମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀଯୁକ୍ତ କନକ ବର୍ଦ୍ଧନ ସିଂହଦେଓ, କୃଷି ଏବଂ କୃଷକ ସଶକ୍ତିକରଣ ଓ ଶକ୍ତି ବିଭାଗ; ମାନ୍ୟବର ଉପମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀମତୀ ପ୍ରଭାତୀ ପରିଡ଼ା, ମହିଳା ଏବଂ ଶିଶୁ ବିକାଶ, ମିଶନ୍ ଶକ୍ତି ଓ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟଟନ ବିଭାଗ; ଓ ମାନ୍ୟବର ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ, ଡ଼ଃ ମୁକେଶ ମହାଲିଙ୍ଗ, ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ଏବଂ ପରିବାର କଲ୍ୟାଣ, ଇଲେକଟ୍ରୋନିକ୍ସ ଓ ସୂଚନା ପ୍ରଯୁକ୍ତିବିଦ୍ୟା ଏବଂ ସଂସଦୀୟ ବ୍ୟାପାର ବିଭାଗ; ଶକ୍ତି, ସ୍ବାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ଓ ପରିବାର କଲ୍ୟାଣ ତଥା ଇସ୍ପାତ ଓ ଖଣି ନିଗମର ବିଭାଗୀୟ ସଚିବ ମାନେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ରହିଥିଲେ। ଇସ୍ପାତ ଓ ଖଣି ବିଭାଗର ଅତିରିକ୍ତ ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଶାସନ ସଚିବ ଶ୍ରୀ ସୁରେନ୍ଦ୍ର କୁମାର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମର ସ୍ବାଗତ ଅଭିଭାଷଣରେ "ଓଡ଼ିଶାକୁ ଏକ ସଶକ୍ତ ଓ ଅର୍ଥନୈତିକ ସମୃଦ୍ଧ ରାଜ୍ୟ ଭାବରେ ପରିଗଣିତ କରିବାକୁ ଓଏମସି ପ୍ରତିବଦ୍ଧ ରହିଛି" ବୋଲି କହିଥିଲେ। ଏହି ଅବସରରେ କମ୍ପାନୀର ପରିଚାଳନା ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶକ ଶ୍ରୀ ବଲୱନ୍ତ ସିଂ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ପ୍ରମୁଖ ଅଧିକାରୀ ମାନେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ରହିଥିଲେ। ଶକ୍ତି, ସ୍ବାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ଓ ପରିବାର କଲ୍ୟାଣ ତଥା ଓଏମସିରେ ୨୮୧ଜଣ ନବନିଯୁକ୍ତ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥୀଙ୍କୁ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାରଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ନିଯୁକ୍ତି ପ୍ରଦାନ କରାଯାଇଛି। ଏଥିରେ ଓଏମସି ରେ କନିଷ୍ଠ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ମେକାନିକାଲ ୧୯, କନିଷ୍ଠ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଇଲେକ୍ଟ୍ରିକାଲ ୧୪, କନିଷ୍ଠ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସିଭିଲ ୧୬, କନିଷ୍ଠ ନର୍ସ ୧୧, କନିଷ୍ଠ ଫାର୍ମାସିଷ୍ଟ ୯ ଏବଂ ୩୦ ଜଣ ଇଲେକ୍ଟ୍ରିସିଆନଙ୍କୁ ନିଯୁକ୍ତି ମିଳିଛି। ଏଠାରେ ସୂଚନାଯୋଗ୍ୟଯେ, ଓଏମସି ର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ବିଭାଗରେ ଖାଲି ପଡ଼ିଥିବା ପଦବୀ ପୂରଣ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସରକାରୀ ନିୟମାନୁଯାୟୀ ସି.ବି.ଟି ପରୀକ୍ଷା ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା। ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ୮ ଟି ସହରରେ ୨୦ ଟି କେନ୍ଦ୍ରରେ ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛଳ ଭାବରେ ପରୀକ୍ଷା ପରିଚାଳନା କରାଯାଇଥିଲା।#MiningHappiness Chief Minister's Office, Odisha Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology
