Back in 2012, when we embarked on the journey of establishing Pappco Greenware, our vision of an eco-friendly packaging brand faced numerous challenges. The primary hurdle was pricing – crafting sustainable solutions often came with a higher cost. However, we were determined to find a balance that wouldn't compromise on quality. Another obstacle was the prevailing misconception that environmentally friendly products were exclusively made in China. Overcoming this perception became a mission – we transitioned to an all-India production model, fostering local sustainability and supporting our nation's economy. The evolution in quality over the years has been substantial. In the early days, we encountered skepticism regarding the durability of our products. Fast forward to now, our commitment to enhancing quality through continuous innovation has earned us the trust of our customers. A major challenge was the lack of awareness. Many associated eco-friendly packaging with conventional materials like thermocol. To combat this, we initiated drives and educational campaigns, notably at iconic locations like Marine Drive. It was heartening to witness the transformation in perceptions as people became more informed about our sustainable alternatives. Reflecting on our journey, the landscape has shifted significantly. The cost dynamics have become more favorable, making eco-friendly choices more accessible.
