In 2009, during my 2nd year in college, I learnt Photo Editing & Design on Photoshop. My initial aim? To enhance my resume with some extra-curricular skills for future job placements 😂 But as I delved in, my passion for design grew. I transitioned from creating 100s of posters for college events to becoming the creative head in my final year, and before I realized it, I embarked on my entrepreneurial journey by 2014 🚀 Fast forward to today, 15 years on, my passion for editing & design remains strong. I still handle important design tasks, from making a logos to conceptualizing product designs. Being an editor & designer, Now Marketeer, I often deal with repetitive tasks, occasional creative blocks, and the need for multiple artwork variations for A/B testing. It's time-consuming and, at times, exhausting. The current editing tools are fragmented, come with hefty subscription fees, and lack deep AI integration. For instance, I'd enhance a photo on one platform, remove its background on another, and generate a new backdrop on a third.🤷 While tools like Photoshop offer complexity and come with a steep learning curve and price tag, platforms like Canva fall short in creating intricate designs. Moreover, the available generative AI image/design tools lack customization options for the final output, such as object replacement or image extension. These tools also aren't tailored for specific professional needs, be it a Marketer, E-commerce Seller, Creator, Graphic Designer, or even a Fashion Designer. I felt this pain and recognized a shared struggle among peers. That's where the idea of PhotAI was born. We aim to combine the prowess of Generative AI with the finesse of design, creating a platform where every designer, novice or expert, can weave magic effortlessly without juggling between softwares.
