Project Urvi is an initiative that aims to highlight the disproportionate impacts of climate on developing spaces. It uplifts the anthropogenic effects of climate change and underlines the economic, social and political implications. Hinged with this aim, we also seek to motivate passionate individuals to act towards climate change. So will be posting internship, apprenticeship and fellowship opportunities on our community page and LinkedIn. These will be relevant to social and development spaces!

    I'm thrilled to share that I've completed a four-month internship as a Research Intern with Project Urvi under Academia for Sustainable Development 🎉 From July 18 to October 1, 2024, I had the incredible opportunity to contribute to various aspects of sustainable development research and policy. This experience has been invaluable, allowing me to develop new skills and deepen my understanding of environmental issues and sustainable practices. I'm grateful for the chance to work with Team Urvi. Their support has been instrumental in my professional growth.

    Paid Part-time Opportunity at Project Urvi Job Title: Part-Time Founder’s Assistant Location: Remote Job Type: Part-Time About Us:   Project Urvi is an organisation offering Research Solutions, CSR Consultancy Services and Social Media Management Services (for Purpose-Driven Brands only). We’re looking for a dedicated and organized individual to support our founder and contribute to our team’s success. Job Summary:   The Part-Time Founder’s Assistant will work closely with the founder to manage their day-to-day tasks, ensuring smooth operations and effective time management. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and able to handle a variety of tasks with efficiency and professionalism. Key Responsibilities: - Schedule Management: Coordinate and manage the founder’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and events. - Communication: Handle correspondence on behalf of the founder, including emails, phone calls, and messages. Draft and respond to emails as needed. - Task Coordination: Assist with task prioritization and follow-up on action items. Ensure timely completion of key projects. - Meeting Preparation: Prepare agendas, documents, and presentations for meetings. Take notes and provide summaries. -Research: Research various topics as requested by the founder, providing summaries and insights. - Administrative Support: Assist with other administrative tasks as required, including document management, filing, and data entry. Qualifications: - Freshers with no experience are encouraged to apply and leverage their learning potential at Project Urvi. - You must be enrolled for an Undergraduate Degree or Higher. Preferred Skills: - Experience in a startup environment is a plus. - Social media management experience is a bonus. - Strong organisational and communication skills are required. Working Hours:   This is a part-time position requiring [15-20 hours per week]. Flexibility in working hours is expected to accommodate the founder’s schedule. Compensation:   Compensation will be based on the projects allocated. These opportunities will be relevant to social and development spaces. Role Description: This is a part-time remote role for a Research Intern. The Research Intern will be responsible for conducting research, collecting and analyzing data, identifying trends, and supporting the development of reports and publications. The Intern will also communicate with team members and provide updates on their progress. You will work with on the development of a comprehensive report Qualifications: Experience in conducting research and analyzing data Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and remotely Interest and knowledge in climate change and/or social and development spaces Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel Experience in report writing and data visualization is a plus Pursuing a Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Science, Social Science, or Data Science Duration: 1 Month The internship will be unpaid. #researchinternship #jobalert #fresherjobs
